Details of a carefully prepared grey horse

Washed, clean & dry

Every horse must be thoroughly washed, clean and completely dry before clipping. A clean coat is essential for a smooth and refined result. No water available to wash your horse? Contact me in advance to discuss the options. A €15 surcharge, excluding VAT, applies for an unwashed horse.

Ready on time

Please have the horses in their stables and ready to be clipped at the agreed starting time.

A well-lit grooming area

Provide a safe grooming area with sufficient light, enough room to work and a nearby electrical outlet.

Brushes within reach

Please provide suitable brushes so the horse can be groomed and loose hair can be removed throughout the clipping process.

Keep the area clean

Please have a broom and other basic cleaning materials available to keep the grooming area clean and safe while I work.

Help when needed

Someone familiar with the horse should be available to assist with sensitive areas such as the ears or legs when necessary.

Tell me beforehand

Please mention sensitivities, difficult behaviour or sedation requirements when making your enquiry.

Let’s make your horses
look their best.
